This project supports local businesses and front line workers on Vancouver Island during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Shape Design is contributing 50% of the profit from each KEY that is sold to purchase gift cards from local businesses and distribute them to front line workers (see below for how it works).
Designed to help you keep your hands off unnecessary handles and objects, the COVID KEY is a light-duty tool that opens doors, pushes buttons, picks up groceries and everything in between. Made from acrylic, the KEY has an easy-to-clean surface, while the finger rest has rounded ergonomic grooves that fit the contour of your fingers to create a comfortable handle.
The KEY costs exactly $12, and ships right to your door.
Please read below for nomination directions and restrictions.
— PLEASE LEAVE YOUR VOTES IN THE “NOTE TO SELLER” MESSAGE BOX DURING CHECKOUT —
With the purchase of each KEY, you may nominate one (1) local small business. Buying 2 KEYS gives 2 votes for the same business or 1 each for separate businesses, and so on…
In order to be considered eligible, businesses must:
—Be located on Vancouver Island or the Gulf Islands
—Have a physical location (for example: no home based businesses)
—Must be currently operating and able to provide gift cards. Cards must be able to be used immediately either in-person, via takeout, or online.
*Shape Design reserves the right to remove any businesses that it does not feel falls into the criteria above. Remember, this is meant to support smaller, local island businesses that would typically rely on foot traffic or in-person sales to be able to pay their bills and rent.
Our first round of winners, nominated by YOU lovely people, are:
